Malik may be a household name thanks to her skills as a satirist and cricketer Mohammad Asif, but she’s set to be locked into a house of her own. She has signed a contract to appear on the fourth season of the Indian reality television show “Big Boss”.

A source close to the actor confirmed that she has signed the contract. Malik left for Mumbai on Monday. The launching ceremony of the reality show will be held on October 2 and Veena Malik is likely to do a dance performance on the same day, the source said.

Several names have appeared in the Indian press of likely contestants. However, another source confirmed to The Express Tribune that Taranum, Shaan, Sara Khan, Veena Malik and Neetu Chandra are definitely participating.

Melbourne, Sep 27 : Mohammad Asif’s former girlfriend Veena Malik has reportedly revealed that a death threat was given in person to her parents’ home last week.

Malik, an actress, also received threats few days ago for handing over phone records to International Cricket Council (ICC) showing Asif was in regular contact with an alleged Indian bookmaker Dheeraj Dixit.

Asif is among the three Pakistani cricketers suspended by the ICC over suspicion of spot-fixing and bowling deliberate no-balls to order during the Lord’s Test.

Malik claimed that Dixit – a freelance photographer – is an illegal bookmaker and fixed the matches with Asif when they met in Bankok before the disastrous Australian tour earlier this year where Pakistan lost all the matches.
