She became a household name in India with her controversial stint on the fourth season of reality show `Bigg Boss` and now Pakistani actress Veena Malik is joining Bollywood`s item girl bandwagon.

The 32-year-old actress, better known as the ex-girlfriend of troubled Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif will be seen in an item number in Bobby Sheikh directed film `Phir Mulakat Ho Na Ho`.

“We are are in talks with Veena Mallik for an item song in the film. It is almost certain,” said Sheikh.

This is Sheikh`s first venture as a film director. He has been the assistant director in films like `Rann` and `Rang De Basanti`.

With songs by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, KK and Atif Aslam, the film also stars Rajpal Yadav, Kader Khan and Praveen Kumar and will hit the screens in September this year.

Bigg Boss participant Veena Malik makes her B-Town debut in a double role in Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai. The film also marks the directorial debut of actor Aanand Balraj who has featured in several Subhash Ghai films like Ram Lakhan, Khal Naayak, Saudgar, Pardes.

The project was announced at an event held in Versova on Tuesday. Aanand will begin shooting shortly in a start-to-finish schedule. Anand is the brother of director Deepak Balraj who made Hafta Bandh.
