Adopting a strident posture towards popular reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss’, Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Tuesday said his party won’t allow the show to continue, come what may.
“In the guise of this show, Pak’s green poison is entering the country. Come what may, we will not allow the show,” Thackeray said in a statement in Mumbai.
“Don’t issue law and order (disruption) threats to us. Shiv Sena will disrupt the TV show,” Thackeray said.
Sena and Raj Thackeray-led MNS have threatened to stall the run of the hit reality TV show, protesting the inclusion of Pakistani artistes in the fourth season hosted by superstar Salman Khan.
The fourth season of the much-awaited show kicked off on October 3 with Salman unveiling the 14 contestants, including Veena Malik, Pakistani model and ex-girlfriend of cricketer Mohammed Asif and Begum Nawazish Ali, the cross-dressing host of a popular chat show in Pakistan.
