The Economic Times Leaders’ Challenge Tour, a tournament for the head honchos of the corporate world, concluded its Delhi round with a prize distribution ceremony in the capital recently.

“There’s nothing like a round of golf to perk up your busy day at work,” we heard the guests dressed in smart casuals (which is a rare sight in the case of corporates) saying over wine and quickies. Well, we agree. Brandon de Souza, the emcee of the evening who was wearing a pink blazer, was at his witty best cracking jokes on, well, the colour pink. He also encouraged others to play golf just like Tiger Woods plays. Yes, we got the drift, Brandon.

B’DAY BUMPS: Among the corporates, we also spotted Ashmit Patel and Veena Malik, who came in late but were soon the star attractions of the evening. They gave away prizes too and happily answered questions thrown to them by all. Ashmit confessed and said, “I survived in Big Boss house only because of Veena. She really helped me out.” True love, Ashmit. Coincidentally, it was Veena’s birthday that day and the evening was made special for her when the live band sang birthday for her and, yes, Ashmit kissed her.
