Pakistani actress Veena Malik will be sponsoring an Indian girl child’s education and providing for her day-to-day needs.

She told us, “Even before I got into acting, I had a keen interest in social causes and charity related projects. Two years back I had adopted two kids in Pakistan as well. I’ve been sponsoring their education and providing for their well-being. I feel very nice when I do such things. Bahut achha lagta hai ki aap kuch doosron ke liye kar rahe hain. Humne toh bahut paise aur izzat kamaayi hai zindagi mein, agar usme se doosron ke liye kuch kar sakte hain, toh kya harz hai karne mein. I have been staying in India for a long time and have wanted to adopt an Indian kid. I will ‘adopt’ and sponsor an Indian girl child.”

  When asked if this kid will be staying with her, she said, “Adopting a child is a great responsibility. I will be visiting the kid on a regular basis, but she won’t be staying with me. I will entirely take care of her education and take the responsibilty of looking after her day-to-day needs.”
