She’s been known to be brazen, bindass . And she has been pretty open too about flaunting her assets. Whether it was on Bigg Boss 4 where she audaciously flirted with Ashmit Patel and preened around in short skitrs. Or whether it was when she debated with a mufti (a Muslim religious leader) on television. Veena Malik, Pakistani artiste, has stood up for what she considers important, in a nation which is pretty strict towards women on the whole.

Now the sexy siren is threatening to take the publishers of FHM, a men’s publication, to court for publishing pictures of her stark nude in its latest issue.

Speaking at a conference this evening relating to her taking part in Imagine TV’s Swayamwar 4 in which she will be choosing a groom for herself from a lineup of young men, she was quite clear that she had done no such thing.

“I haven’t posed nude for any magazine; my picture has been morphed. My legal advisor and manager are working on taking a legal action against the magazine,” she said.

Her nude picture for FHM have caused quite a furore in Pakistan and in India. In the picture, she is totally bare with her hands covering her breasts and the word ISI is tattooed on her arm. ISI is the Inter Service Intelligence, the Pakistani intelligence agency.

FHM editor Kabeer Sharma has however refuted all these allegations saying that the picture is genuine. Said he to local media: “The photo shoot was done in Mumbai on 22 November. We have a video of the photo shoot. I also have an email from Veena in which she says she has seen the photos and is happy with them, and that she’s looking forward to seeing the cover.”

Be that as it may, the controversy queen has landed herself into another one courtesy her chutzpah. Obviously, the current brouhaha is just a trailer of what viewers can expect during her wedding show.
