She was engaged twice but both engagements broke. She was also in a few relationships, but the men cheated on her.

  Now Veena Malik is seeking true and pristine love and possibly happy and everlasting marriage. The platform she has chosen to find her true love and perfect marital match is a reality show.

Aptly titled Veena Ka Vivaah, the vivacious and spirited girl from across the border, is geared up to find her groom in Swayamvar’s season 4 that will go on air early next year.

She was approached for the show six months back. “When the offer came, I wondered why me,” she says. “I consulted my family and friends. My parents didn’t find anything wrong in it. I have seen the show and know it will be a serious marriage. I want to give it a chance,” adds Veena. She would have probably got married a few years ago had her first engagement not broken.

“I was in love with a boy. We were quite serious. We got engaged but he was not loyal to me,” she reveals. Talking about her second engagement she says, “The boy was my father’s friend’s son. I was quite serious about marrying him but he wanted me to quit my career and go with him to the US. It couldn’t have worked for me,” adds the actor, who is is hoping to be lucky this time.

But will it be just an engagement or shaadi? “The intention is definitely marriage. But it all depends on the kind of boys who come on the show,” she adds. While it is to be seen whether Veena finds her Mr. Right and whether the show will end with marriage, she is Imagine TV’s most expensive catch.

According to a source close to Veena as well as an insider from Imagine, Veena will be paid Rs 3 crore as participation fee. “This is the highest any contestant has got so far. Besides, if she gets married, she will be paid an additional Rs 1.5 crore,” says the source.

Veena however, says that she is not doing the show for money. “I won’t deny that I am being paid very well. But I am not doing it for money alone,” she clarifies.

Elaborating further she adds, “I have been unlucky in love. No relationship worked. I want a loyal partner and hopefully I will find one here.”
