The high court of Pakistan’s capital Islamabad has refused to put on trial popular actress Veena Malik, who has been accused of violating Moslem moral norms.

A scandal broke out in Pakistan when Ms. Malik’s nude photographs were published in the Indian magazine “FHM”.

Ms. Malik claims that she didn’t pose totally nude – only topless, and that her nude photos were a montage.

The court motivated its refusal to put the actress on trial by the fact that the photographs had been taken and published in another country.
