After Priyanka Chopra, Veena Malik to launch first single

Bollywood actress and former Miss World, Priyanka Chopra, recently launched her first single, In My City, which was appreciated by many out there. However, now the Pakistani starlet Veena Malik has also turned singer and will soon release her debut single, Drama Queen.
“I believe in letting my work talk for myself. We recorded the song in August last year and since then have been putting things together and shooting the video,” she said.
Veena has always remained in the news for the wrong reasons. She started an affair with actor Ashmit Patel during her stint in the ‘Bigg Boss 4’ house. Later on she appeared semi ‘nude’ on the cover page of a popular men’s magazine FHM India.
The actress did many other things as well to gain the media limelight and these days she is locking headlines for her latest raunchy photoshoot, which she has done for her upcoming film ‘Supermodel’.
Therefore, Veena is often referred to as the drama queen of the industry and while sharing thoughts with the media the actress admitted that she knows what people call her.
“Singing will not just be another hobby, but a career. Yet I will continue to do films and TV shows depending on the offers,” added Veena, who agrees that the song’s title suits her to the T.
Veena said her song will represent the feelings of almost every girl out there.
“People do call me a ‘drama queen’, and to some extent I am one. I feel every girl is a drama queen. The lyrics of the song represent every girl out there,” she said.
Veena Malik’s song will release on ArtistAloud.com and the album includes collaborations with British Asian music producer Bups Saggu. After launching her first single, Veena will start working on four more tracks.
Currently, Veena is looking forward to her upcoming films which are ‘Supermodel’ and the Kannada remake of ‘The Dirty Picture’ (2011).

It was reported on September 17, 2012, that Pakistani import and Bollywood actress Veena Malik did a bold photoshoot for her upcoming Hindi movie “Supermodel”.
Veena looked stunning and raunchy in the racy black bikini with shorts. The ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant said that she feels like a supermodel.
The photoshoot which she has done reflects the glamorous part of “Supermodel” movie. She says that it’s just a spark to catch the fire and she is the only supermodel.
Veena was seen flashing her body ever with her shapely long legs and washboard abs. She was seducing the camera with her dazzling deep eyes, and her enigmatic beauty.
The movie is produced by Ravi Ahlawat and directed by Navin Batra.
Navin Batra, the director, said that when he was thinking about “Supermodel”, the one to come first in his mind was Veena as he felt that she was perfect for the role.
He said that Veena has done a lot of hard work in this film where she will be sharing screen with her ex Ashmit Patel.
Producer Ravi Ahlawat said that he is happy to cast Veena as his first ever choice for the movie since she is the one to justify the role.
