I am not dating Ashmit: Veena Malik

They’ve been spotted hitting town together often, prompting rumours of a relationship. But B-town couple Veena Malik and Ashmit Patel, who were recently seen visiting the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, have managed to dodge questions about the status of their relationship, until now.
TOI quizzed Veena about her recent trip with Ashmit, and she clarified, “I didn’t go to Ajmer, I went to the Nizamuddin Auliya in Delhi to pray and Ashmit happened to be there for a friend’s wedding. Ashmit has a great regard for all religions and even in the Bigg Boss house we used to do namaz together. So he decided to come with me to the dargah.”
On the work-front, Veena has wrapped up the shoot of her debut film, Daal Mein Kuch Kala Hai, in which she is doing an item number. Thereafter, Veena will be seen in a demure avatar in Zindagi 50-50 alongside Sayali Bhagat. “Zindagi 50-50 is a film I have done for a reason. It is a women-centric film and addresses issues that women face these days,” said Veena, adding that she’s signed up for three other films. “It’s still early days to talk about these projects,” she said.
