Pakistani actress Veena Malik, the latest celebrity to be booted out from the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, says she has grown very close to her co-contestant, Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel.
The 32-year-old actress, who got nominated seven times – the maximum for any housemate on the show – thanks to her antics which included her extreme closeness to Ashmit and her confessed liking to Hrishant Goswami, says she is happy to have survived on an Indian show without being a known face here.

Does Veena Malik deserve to be evicted out of Big Boss?
Source: fashioncentral.pk
Imbued with different colors of different people, drawing-room politics and juicy sparks of gossip sessions, Big Boss is meant to entertain people, where different contestants apart from living together entertain audience with their specialties. Whenever it starts to get monotonous and boring, the mysteriously savvy Mr. Big Boss sends in some sparks of life to keep the audience interested. But what will happen if the raunchy divalicious Veena Malik, who is nominated this week along with Sara Khan and Sameer Soni, gets out of the house?
The first thing to follow the eviction of Veena Malik would be the loss of audience from Pakistan as many Pakistani people watch Big Boss solely because of Veena Malik, they are more interested in knowing what she is doing over there rather than Big Boss itself.

Sheerein Sheikh: The controversy of Veena Malik caught on camera is finally revealed as the images being used for the celebrity are very much the same which were hyped when she joined the Tinsel Town and were later proved that they were not of Veena but of someone who looked like her. As she is getting popular at Big Boss4 and the Indians had thought that they would just invite her to their part of the world and humiliate the Pakistanis through her, their plans are failing, so the given controversy is resurfacing.

There could be a conspiracy to oust the Pakistani Big Boss 4 house mates
Source:frontierindia.net
Here is the sequence. Shiv Sena tries to block Big Boss 4 due to the presence of Pakistani contestants. Colors TV aka Big Boss makers, tender an apology. Then shiv Sena happily agrees. The Pakistani contestants are still in. How can this happen? We were surprised why Shiv Sena agreed so sweetly.
Let us make our position very very clear. We are not against Shiv Sena protesting against Big Boss. We do not consider it as a make or break for India. Shiv Sena is very much within constitution to make its feelings known. Who can forget Mumbai attacks? The Big Boss makers have all the right to cut a deal (if they did it) and save the show. After all aadmi bada na bhaiya, sabse baada rupiya.
Having made our points clear we move further.
Now, was kicking out a part of the deal? If so, nothing wrong. It’s a very honorable way to to do such things. People do worse, see the Common Wealth Games. The way they allegedly looted India.
Veena Malik and Begum Nawazish Ali have been popular and we have heard nothing that should earn them a nomination. For example, Veena Malik is the most popular with 605 points. Begum Nawazish Ali has been not so popular but, she is faring better than Manoj Tiwari. Shweta Tiwari nomination may be an eyewash.

After Colors apology, Bigg Boss back on air
Source:indianexpress.com
Cable operators affiliated with the Shiv Sena, who had blacked out Colors channel for airing Bigg Boss reality show for featuring Pakistani artistes, withdrew their protest on Friday after an apology from the channel.
The Sena leaders had asked affiliate Cable Operators and Distributors Association (CODA) not to telecast the channel.
Sena leaders claimed the channel had sent a letter of apology to Sena chief Bal Thackeray following which it was decided to withdraw the blackout in Mumbai and Thane.
The Sena had launched an agitation against the channel for featuring Pakistani artistes and blocked the channel for two days in Mumbai and Thane.
Close to 2,500 cable operators had complied with the Sena “request” not to air the channel, arguing Pakistan had similarly blocked Indian channels.

MUMBAI: Following the Shiv Sena’s diktat to boycott reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, several cable operators in the city have stopped beaming the channel.
Viewers in the city as well as Thane and Navi Mumbai complained that they couldn’t watch ‘Colors’ from Wednesday afternoon as the channel had been blocked. Sena had threatened cable operators to block ‘Colors’ after the party failed to force the producers of ‘Bigg Boss’ from throwing out Pakistani artistes.
There are about 4.1 million homes in Mumbai with cable connections and if the channel is blacked out the viewership of Bigg Boss will take a beating by 15%, said experts.
