She is in possession of a letter (a copy of which is available with TOI) by Maulana Masood, Mujaheddin leader connected with Osama bin Laden, accusing her of humiliating Islam and Pakistan’s name during her stay in the Bigg Boss’ house. The helpless model-turned-TV star has decided to seek asylum in other countries.
The actress who cosied up with male contestants on the show and flaunted her curves unabashedly was criticised by the media in her country. Says the defiant girl, “I’m an artist and I would have felt guilty if I had done something wrong, but I haven’t. I have worn the same clothes in Pakistan and behaved in the same fashion back home, so suddenly what’s my fault? I cannot be issued death threats for participating in a TV show in India.”

On the authentication of the letter, Malik said she had spoken to representatives of the media house, who confirmed its legitimacy.

Malik said that the letter also threatens her family and that if anything happened to them she would hold the government responsible.
She said that she will not seek asylum in India, stating that running away was not an option and that she would return to Pakistan. Malik said that the Indian authorities had provided her with security and she was getting in touch with Pakistani authorities to inform them of the situation.
Malik had recently participated in the fourth season of the Indian reality show Bigg Boss.

Former Bigg Boss contestants, actors Ashmit Patel and Veena Malik, who have denied being in a relationship, were spotted enjoying a romantic dinner date in Delhi on Saturday night. Malik is in Delhi shooting for a TV show while Ashmit had flown down to the city last week to surprise her for her birthday. “Ashmit came to surprise her for her birthday and then he stayed back for some work around Delhi. So they both went for dinner. But it wasn’t really a date!” says Malik’s spokesperson. “It was just dinner and that’s that,” said Patel’s spokesperson.
But, from the chemistry the couple displayed as they dined at Cibo, Janpath, it was evident that the dinner was more than a friendly affair. “They both walked hand-in-hand and stayed close to each other. In fact, when Veena asked Ashmit to drape his scarf differently, he asked her to do it for him,” says a source that saw the two at the restaurant.
“They kept laughing and joking the whole time and Veena just kept looking at him,” added another source.

Mumbai (Bollypatrika News): The latest buzz is that Ashmit Patel travelled all the way to Delhi from Mumbai to attend Veena Malik’s birthday bash.
His presence made the occasion extra special for the birthday girl. But unfortunately there were lots of ruckus at her party.
Seeing the two together the media asked them numerous questions which they happily answered.
One of the journalists even asked Veena about her relationship with Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Asif and also referred to her as “Pakistan Ki Rakhi Sawant”.
To this Ashmit said “What kind of questions are we being asked?”
