Pakistani actor Veena Malik might deny her nude photoshoot for the FHM India magazine but her stylist Nitasha Gaurav and photographer Vishal Saxena on Saturday said the photograph was indeed genuine. The cover shows her posing nude with a tattoo of ISI on the left arm, which has sparked a controversy in Pakistan.

Malik, who came to India last year to participate in the fourth season of reality TV show Bigg Boss, shot for the cover of FHM on November 23, according to the magazine. Malik, however, says the photograph has been morphed, and she did not do any such shoot.

Gaurav, who styled Malik for the session, said he was present at the shoot. “It happened on November 23 at a small studio in Aaramnagar in Versova. I was informed about it a week in advance and I was told that she would be going nude for it. So clearly, the production team of the magazine had discussed it with her. Even on the day of the shoot, she was happy and comfortable with it. There was no issue at all as she was very much willing to do it,” Gaurav told The Sunday Express.

Talking to a daily, Veena said, “Considering I`ve six homes in Pakistan, I think one in Mumbai is only air. I need a big home, at least one extra room for my shoes and clothes.” However, Veena preferred to remain tight-lipped about her marriage plans with Ashmit. But she does admit that she is very much in love with him. “It`s difficult to answer right now. Marriage is like death. You never know when it strikes,” said Veena. The lady from across the border and the Indian actor have been spotted at almost every social gathering since their ‘Bigg Boss’ stint. Ashmit had even thrown a lavish party to celebrate Veena’s birthday. “It`s really early to consider a life together. What exists between Ashmit and me is special. His is the most dialed number on my phone. In many ways, yes, I love him,” added Veena. Wedding bells ringing? To this the actress wittily replies “…marriage is like death, you never know when it strikes. Are we seeing another Veer-Zaara in the making? Only time will tell.

LAHORE: After making headlines in the industry and creating ripples with heated debates on national television, Pakistani actor Veena Malik is back with a bang. The bold beauty has a keen interest in cricket off late and will now appear on not one, but  two television shows on the cricket World Cup for Indian television.

In a show that will hit the small screen on February 19, Malik will serve as host with panelists Ketan Sharma and former Indian cricketer and national coach Anshuman Gaekwad. The programme will fall into a ‘crick-o-tainment’ slot and will discuss cricket and cricketers in a humorous way. It is likely that Bollywood celebrities will come on the show before and during important cricket matches including Salman Khan (the host of “Bigg Boss” Season 4).

A channel’s website cites her age as 32, but she claims to be 26. “My date of birth is 1984. I have my passport to prove it,” she says in her defence.

The Pakistani actor and model who drew the media’s attention after exposing her ex-boyfriend as well as cricketer Mohammad Asif’s foul play, further gained popularity for her notoriety on the reality show Bigg Boss 4, last year. She’s now making her cricket commentary debut.

Bigg Boss 4 is over, but Veena Malik’s new career is going great guns. Over the last few months, debates have raged on about whether Veena is a good representative of Pakistan, why she doesn’t take her role as a ‘cultural ambassador’ seriously and whatever happened to her religious and national values?

Then, after spending the better part of three months, Veena was evicted from the show and millions of people heaved a collective sigh of relief. Actress Veena Malik has said that she want former President Pervez Musharraf to appear in a Pakistani version of Bigg Boss.

According to sources, Veena was asked in an interview about the contestants she would choose if Pakistan were to host the reality show.

“Former President Pervez Musharraf, former minister Sheikh Rashid, parliamentarian Jamsheed Dasti, Nargis, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Aishwarya Rai, actress Meera, Britney Spears and Indian extremist party Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray”, Veena said, naming her dream list of contestants.

Asked if she would repeat any contestant from Bigg Boss 4, she said, “Dolly Bindra. Even the very thought of this show is very funny. This could be hilarious.”

Veena said she had plenty of film offers but plans to focus on television for now.

Veena Malik, one of the Bigg Boss Season 4 contestants, has become the first Pakistani woman ever to trend on Twitter worldwide.

Veena, former girlfriend of Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Asif, took the Pakistani Twitteratti by storm on Friday night, reaching the top ten Twitter trends worldwide following a couple of TV shows on Pakistani channels, The Express Tribune reports

She started getting mentioned in the twitter timeline around 8 pm when a TV Show named “50 Minutes” discussed Veena and her acts in Bigg Boss, ProPakistani, the Pakistani telecom and IT news website reported.

‘Mentions of Veena Malik’ on the Twitter timeline went real crazy around 10 pm when another TV channel programme hit the small screen, in which she was herself present, it added.

Veena’s much controversial participation on the Indian reality TV show has created a big debate in Pakistan, with many accusing her of “not representing the Pakistani woman” on an international forum.

There has been a surge in shows, articles and statements condemning her participation and performance on the reality show for her antics and intimacy with inmate Ashmit Patel in the Bigg Boss house. (ANI)
